Few Studio Ghibli films can claim to be as iconic or beloved as Hayao Miyazaki's My Neighbor Totoro. Endless merchandise based on the whimsical fantasy feature has been made available to fans since its 1988 release. While many products based on the movie are purely for decoration or amusement, the newest Totoro merchandise is practical as well.

The "My Neighbor Totoro Storage Box" has returned to Donguri Sora, Studio Ghibli's official store, after a year away -- the perfect addition to the homes of My Neighbor Totoro fans. Available in two color variants, these charming storage boxes are a perfect incentive to organize just about any work or living space. "Introducing a Gobelin storage box with the popular "Large/Medium Totoro Silhouette" pattern," the description for the item reads. "The calm colors and luxurious feel of Gobelin weaving will match your interior! The cuteness of the Large/Medium Totoro Silhouette pattern will also encourage tidying up your children's toys."

Studio Ghibli's new Calcifer and Howl's Moving Castle-themed products bring the world of Hayao Miyazaki's beloved fantasy flick into fans' homes.

The "My Neighbor Totoro Large Totoro Silhouette Storage Box" features a gray and white pattern depicting the biggest Totoro from the movie and its main star, while the "My Neighbor Totoro Medium Totoro Silhouette Storage Box" features a blue and white pattern showcasing the blue medium-sized Totoro, who also makes an appearance in the film. Both boxes include handles and embossed My Neighbor Totoro logos. The bottoms of the storage boxes are made of 100% polyester, while the rest of the boxes are made of 100% cotton. They each measure 25 cm high, 37 cm wide and 26 cm deep, making them idea for anything from clothes and folded blankets to small cushions, toys or games. Including tax, they retail for 4,400 yen -- roughly US$29.09.

My Neighbor Totoro itself is available to stream globally, either on Max (for viewers located in the U.S. or Japan) or Netflix (for fans in Canada, Europe, Africa, Latin America, Australia or New Zealand).

When two girls move to the country to be near their ailing mother, they have adventures with the wondrous forest spirits who live nearby.
