The discounts reflected in these deals may no longer be available.

It's the age-old consumer joke: You buy things and then you have to buy more things to store those things. And while the Container Store is known for storage, the retailer sells a wide range of products. Right now you can get 25% off purchases of $100 and over, meaning you can buy lots of little things or a higher-price item you’ve been wanting and receive the discount. As the former editor in chief of a magazine all about organizing, I’ve worked with our team of editors to cull through for the smart buys—including items I own and have used for years—so you can make the most of this sale and get ready for summer; the sale ends May 30. For more Memorial Day sales, see our staff picks and best deals.

Hopefully you don't have a drawer or cupboard stuffed with mismatched, disorganized plastic food storage containers, but if you do, this is a potentially better option. I have three sets of these Joseph Joseph nesting storage sets—nesting being the key here. Also, the lids click together, so it all stays tidy.

Buy Side's ranking of best carry-on luggage heralded this Eagle Creek model as the best for adventure travel thanks to its rugged, durable design. It easily survived being thrown down six flights of concrete stairs (twice), buried in Minnesota snow for two days, and red wine instantly beaded off its lining. Available in black at Container Store, its wheels are also notably quieter than similar models we tested, and it comes with Eagle Creek's "No Matter What" warranty.

If you’ve ever dealt with a messy drawer full of loose silverware, you know just how important a good organizer is. Buy Side editor Nick Guy swears by the Oxo Good Grips Large Expandable Utensil Organizer. It's heavily customizable to your home's setup and the utensils you use, since it has dividers that can be positioned to match the tines and bowls of your forks and spoons. When compacted, there's a wide open area for oversize utensils; extend it out and you get a second space.

I didn't realize how annoying my previous latex gloves were until an experienced magazine home director gave me these waterblock gloves, which come in three sizes for a true fit. Do these gloves cost more than other gloves? Yes, but here's why these are a value: They have a subtle "cuff" that keeps water from dripping down your raised arms, a grippy texture on the palm and fingers that helps you keep ahold of fragile items and their comfy and a cotton-flocked lining that makes it easy to pull them on and off.

Attention whiskey drinkers (and anyone who likes a fancy, oversize ice cube): This silicone tray makes four large ice spheres with a petal-like pattern and is dishwasher safe.

This tiny, nested brush and dustpan is more than just cute. It's handy for quick cleanups if you don't want to pull out a large vac, if roommates are asleep or a baby is napping and you need to sweep up errant peas or coffee beans without waking anyone up.

The sound of my golf bag falling over on the garage floor makes me a little crazy. This is a solution I need, and reviewers say this unit is great for two golf bags, but can also be used more generally to hold baseball equipment bags, tennis bags and collapsible stadium chairs, with shelves for balls, court shoes and other sports accessories.

If you’d rather capture vegetable and fruit peelings than have them tumble out onto the counter or into the sink, this is your peeler. For small-animal owners—my daughter has an adorable guinea pig—it's also a way to capture the peels as a snack for your pet.

We gave small versions of these airtight canisters out at a work event I once hosted and the next day my email was filled with people asking where to buy more. They’re clever and handy and better than the ones I bought years ago: In 2018 Oxo did a significant design update and the improvements include stronger seals and the ability to toss both the canister bodies and the lids in the dishwasher.

My husband calls this trash can "the DeLorean" for the clever way it opens. We bought it after our crafty cats found a way to get into our previous kitchen garbage container. We used it for nine years and it still looked new.

Vornado fans have a reputation for high quality, and the two I’ve owned were quieter than similar models and held up well. This is the lowest price we’ve seen for this fan in green in over a year and matches the lowest price on Amazon with Prime shipping. It's also included in the Container Store's "Dorm Ultimate Zen Desk Bundle." If you haven't shopped the store's bundles before, you just load a bunch of themed essentials into your cart with one click and then delete any items you don't need—handy for families with a college student who eye-rolls at the thought of dorm-gear decisions.

My colleague loves these bottles for gifting her homemade cocktails, while I use them for sparkling or lemon water when guests come over. The 34-ounce bottle has a rubber gasket and is dishwasher safe.

This lidded food carrier is good for potlucks, tailgating, bake sales and more, fitting a 9-by-12 inch dish or pan. It comes with trays for deviled eggs or appetizers and dip, and can be used for cakes, too, though reviewers note it's not airtight, so it's best for transferring rather than storage. The best feature: It's collapsible and stores smaller.

No, it's not a necessity item, though I love this recommendation from Buy Side's creative director, who keeps a similar pretty hourglass on her desk as a nice—and stylish—way to "time box" when you’re working and want to press through and finish a project by deadline.

I own two of these baskets, so I wasn't surprised when the cleaning experts in our best laundry baskets research recommended this model for its contoured shape that curves around your hip or stomach without digging in. It also has smoother handles than similar baskets.

I bake a lot, and this Oxo accessory is an extra helpful solution to a real problem. I used to use a terracotta disk in my brown sugar container to make it last longer without getting solidified. The Brown Sugar Saver does the same thing, but attaches to your Pop container's lid, freeing you from having to remove a disk before scooping. It is compatible with several Pop container sizes released after August 2019.

Do people in your home also constantly ask: "Where did all the chip clips go?" Those days are over for us, now that we have a couple packs of these magnetic clips that pop onto the fridge, the side of the microwave or any metal spot where your crew can find them easily.
