Accolade Wines has expanded its mini boxed wine offerings with the launch of Jam Shed Shiraz, available now.
Following the launch of Mud House Sauvignon Blanc in the same format, this new addition aligns with growing consumer demand for sustainable and convenient wine packaging.
The Jam Shed Shiraz mini box provides up to six weeks of freshness after opening, allowing consumers to enjoy their wine at their own pace.
The packaging also boasts a 26% size reduction and a 13.6% decrease in cardboard use compared to Accolade’s previous 1.5L boxed format.

The design includes clear messaging and flavour cues, enhancing brand recognition and shopper navigation.
For retailers, the new packaging allows for a 12.7% increase in product per pallet, optimising shelf efficiency.
According to Accolade’s research, there are generational differences in attitudes toward boxed wine, with younger consumers showing more interest in sustainable options.
Lucy Ramsay head of portfolio and innovation and sustainability – Europe at Accolade Wines said: “With the festive season just around the corner, the launch of the Jam Shed Shiraz Mini Box couldn’t be timelier.”
“There’s still a big job to be done in terms of educating consumers about the benefits of alternative wine packaging and breaking down long-standing stigma,” Ramsay added.
